Thomas NEWLAND of Bapchild, yeoman, in £10, to appear to prosecute and give evidence against William RUDD.

3 November 1604

Thomas STOUTE of Bapchild, victualler and husbandman, at Boughton-under-Blean, stole a cloak worth 30s. belonging to Walter BYGGES and also Walter HOLTE of Wingham, labourer, at Bapchild received the same from Thomas STOUTE. (Both plead not guilty.)  Sureties, William HARRISON of Tonge, yeoman and Ellis MATTEN of Bapchild, labourer.
