During a question and answer session at the recently held Swale Rural Forum Andrew Ogden from the Environment Agency is reported as saying that “overall in Kent, complaints had been low”

This is in direct contrast to the discussions which took place when the Environment Agency met with Derek Wyatt MP in early September where they clearly stated that Kent had generated more complaints than anywhere else in the country.

You may also be interested to learn that Farmers get paid to dispose of one type of waste material, although the National Farmers Union refused to state which material this was. As I understand it the other materials are generally offered at no cost and therefore there is significant financial motivation to use these materials compared with the alternatives.
