Friends of St Laurence Church, Bapchild

The Friends were formed in 1996 to raise funds towards the cost of maintaining the fabric of St Laurence church. Every five years, a survey is carried out on the church and a list of work required is produced. Some jobs are relatively cheap whilst others are very expensive.

It is down to the church to raise the money and sometimes grants are available. But every little bit of money is helpful and that is where the Friends come in. We arrange one or two fund raising events a year but the mainstay of our income is a 100 Club.


The 100 Club

This is a monthly draw and there are three cash prizes every month. The cost is £12 a year.
