Landowner wants more housing on Stones Farm
G.H. Dean & Co Ltd owners of Stones Farm have also objected to the Swale Council consultation on Stones Farm. However, unlike the majority of objections against the development, this objects to the fact that there simply isn’t enough housing and far too much open space.
G.H. Dean & Co Ltd therefore propose that the housing numbers are increased to 733 on 22 hectares of land and that the public open space and therefore countryside gap is further reduced by another 4 hectares.
And they then further suggest that any landscape buffer between the housing development and public open space be located on the public open space, thereby reducing even further the countryside gap.
They would also like housing to commence straight away and see no reason to hold the development off until post 2011.
