Operation Christmas Child

Mrs Butcher reports that 91 shoeboxes were collected last week and were taken to the area collection point at Ashford where they will be rechecked and then sent  to Eastern Europe for final distribution.

This really is a record number of boxes and involved generous contrubutions from a huge number of people throughout the village.

Thank you very much for your support. This means that 91 children somewhere will have a much happier Christmas.
