Update reference KCC commencing 'Drainage Improvement Works' in School Lane and Ashtead Drive.

These works which were due to start on 23/11/21 and are anticipated to take approximately two-weeks to complete have now been re-scheduled and will now commence on 9th December 2021.  This is due to supply issues with the concrete rings required to construct the new soakaway.  KCC apologises for any inconvenience caused.

The works will generally be undertaken during normal daylight hours between 08:00 and 16:00.

Whilst the works are being undertaken, the access road alongside the main part of School Lane will be
closed. The route for through traffic will be unaffected. Access for all properties along School Lane will be possible, although there may be times when access is restricted by plant movements and deliveries.

Due to the nature of the works, it is inevitable that there will be some disruption around the works, however
KCC aim to keep this to a minimum.

KCC need your help to make sure the work is done as quickly and efficiently as possible. If your vehicle is
usually parked on the road near the area of the works, please make sure you park it somewhere else away from the site whilst these works are carried out.
Your patience and co-operation whilst these works are undertaken will be greatly appreciated.
